Marion McDonald

Vice Chairperson

Marion is a specialist in customer centric transformational change and performance improvement, with 25+years experience as a senior executive in organisations such as Barclays and AIG, and management consultancies PwC and Deloitte. She has worked in over 30 countries across Europe, North & South America, and Asia Pacific - including Tokyo, Shanghai, Moscow, Tel Aviv, London, New York, Bogota, and of course Glasgow! Marion has supported the boards of numerous companies, and also organisations such as the Chartered Institute of Bankers, the Chartered Institute of Marketing, and the CCA. A committed advocate of the engagement and development of people as the key enabler of a great customer experience, Marion continues to work as an Executive coach and as a mentor to young people starting off their business careers.  

Originally from Pitlochry, Marion is a long time resident of Paisley where she lives with her husband, Jim, and adorable Labrador, Sandy.  Currently in the second year of an Arts & Humanities degree, she spends her leisure time travelling, is a keen (but novice) sailor, and loves the cinema, theatre, and concerts.
