Adult Counsellors - Glasgow

Immediate Opportunities are available for qualified and experienced Counsellors (contracted) and Associate Counsellors (self-employed on a twelve month contract).

Join our Counselling Team in Glasgow.

Counsellor Grade 4/5 (£24,750 - £29,500) pro rata

(salary placement dependant on qualifications, experience and accreditation status)

Roles are for 3 - 5 days per week (21- 35 hours).

Given current pandemic conditions, remote (telephone and video counselling) counselling delivery may be available short term but longer term opportunities will be on site.

You must have:

A recognised Diploma in Counselling
A valid driving licence and access to own vehicle is essential
Excellent IT skills and be comfortable with use of mobile technology

Ideally, you will also have:

Experience of delivering time limited, solution focused approaches (SSW; 4:8 model)
Demonstrable experience of working with a range of client types and presenting issues
Experience of recording comprehensive client progress and improvement data, preferably using recognised clinical / outcome focused tools (CORE, SDQ, GBO, SHANARRI etc) and processes
